ALF

Educazione adulti

Main aim of the project ALF - Adult Learners' Forum is to diminish the insufficient cooperation and exchange among adult learners during the learning activity, working out the model of Adult Learners' Forum (ALF). The project idea was born from the evidence of a frequent lack of dialogue among trainers and learners on one side and among the learners on the other side. The adult learners themselves underline that the lack of discussion, cooperation and exchange of experiences among learners (both on national and on European dimension) is a main weakness in adult education.
ALF is the "place" - physical and virtual - where learners' meetings, workshops and seminars take place, a space where learners can discuss their problems, hold dialogues with training providers and social partners, and make proposals for solving their problems. During the project duration the learners have been involved in elaborating the ALF model, developing their networks, and disseminating the project outputs, both in their countries as well as at the European level. Different learners target groups are represented in the permanently operating ALF, whereas highly motivated learners act as promoters for the disadvantaged learners and/or women with lower education level, who need support and encouragement in their learning activities.
