Educazione adulti

The project New skills for the challenges of a new job market - Computer supported distance learning has the long-term goal of according distance learning an equal role with school education. Above all distance learning offers the opportunity of further education to enter or re-enter the job market. The target group therefore includes particularly women, who have left work to have children and disabled people. In concrete terms, it is a question of working out a syllabus for distance learning in the field of finance and banking and testing it for the first time in practice. With multi-media aids like the Internet and CD-ROMs the quality and current relevance of distance study is distinctly improved. From this, a European standard for distance learning in the field of banking and finance should be developed.Impact The methodology of the programme developed can also be used in other fields. The experiences can also ease reorganisation of the education system in future member countries.
